Facebook Ads Manager is an advertising platform bundled to link both your Instagram and Facebook business pages for straightforward advertising. If you are very active on both Facebook and Instagram, this is a smart route to go.

When building your first campaign, Facebook Ads Manager allows you to choose the objective of your campaign. That could be Awareness, Consideration, or Conversion.

Awareness

Awareness covers the bare necessities of getting others aware that your business exists.

  • Brand Awareness

The brand awareness option gives you the ability to help you find the audience that will most likely remember your ads.

  • Reach

The reach objective measures how many people viewed your ads and how often. You will be able to see the reach and frequency of your ads from this objective.

Consideration

The Consideration objective covers what you want people to do once they start seeing your ads.

  • Traffic

Within the traffic objective, you can create your ads to send people to a destination, whether that be a website, specific link, app. etc.

  • Engagement

The engagement objective is to get more people to see your content and engage with it. You can boost your posts, promote your page, get people to claim an offer on your page, and raise attendance at an event on your Facebook page.

  • App Installs

App installs objective is designed to target people to download your app after discovery. To do this, you have to first register your app on Facebook for Developer’s site.

  • Video Views

Video views are optimized to show your video advertisements to those most likely to watch the app through completion

  • Lead Generation

Lead generation is a great way to get your customer’s contact information so you can follow up with them later.

  • Messages

The messages objective offers a unique way for customers to converse with your business online. All the customer has to do is click on an add to message you! This is a cool idea for questions on a specific product and you can also track with specific products to gain more conversation than others.

Conversion

Conversion focuses on people taking action

In this objective, you are able to promote relevant item you may be selling and target those who have shown interest on your site.

  • Store traffic

The store traffic objective allows you to generate local ads for your store. This is only for those business owners who have a physical address.
